When Chen Darui’s daughter was two years old, he bought a rocking horse for her. As his daughter grows up, he wants to make the rocking horse not only the memory carrier but more functional. Therefore, he designed the horse stool as a birthday gift to his daughter, who can sit on the horse reading, writing and drawing. The horse was exhibited at Salone Internationaledel Mobile di Milano.
In collaboration with East Design Show, Swedish Wood exhibited furniture in Swedish wood at East Design Show, at China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) in Shanghai on September 11th – 14th 2017. Swedish Wood displayed over 30 pieces of contemporary furniture by Swedish and Chinese designers.
