Phishing scheme

The Swedish company Svenskt Trä has been the target of a phishing scheme for several months. The scammer behind the scheme operates under different domain names resembling the trademark Svenskt Trä, such as svensk-wood.com, pointing to websites that are a copy of the company’s official website at www.svenskttra.se. The scammer has been known to publish cars for sale on ad sites, contacting individuals by email and including a link to the infringing websites in their signature to pass off as an employee at the company Svenskt Trä.

We recommend that you do not engage further with the scammer. If you have already been scammed, we do recommend that you file a police complaint. The company Svenskt Trä has filed a police complaint for phishing, copyright, and trademark infringement.
